How are you during this "back to school" frenzy?
Interestingly enough, not because of my own two children, but my mind and time has been centered around the "back to school" buzz. In the last two weeks I've delivered two different trainings and curriculum for faculty at an out-of-state university and another for students at a local CUNY (City University of New York). Although my audience of faculty and students is different from my day to day audience of parents, a common interest remains the same -- improving relationships. As a mother, I’m constantly in a state of reflection: How did I handle that? Was it my best parenting? Did I get the response I was hoping for? And the parenting questions continue. |
