Do you ever feel like you never know how your child's day went at school? You ask questions, but get the proverbial "good"?
As I prepare for an upcoming workshop all about building connections with our children, I thought about how so many of us struggle to get information from our kids - especially when it comes to school. So often we get roadblocked with the famous "good", "fine", "ok" and we don't really know where else to go from there.
Here are a few questions that will support better conversations with our children as we seek meaningful dialogue about their days at school.
Ages 3-10 years old:
Ages 11 +:
Message me on what you notice is different about these questions. Let's come together and figure out how to enhance your language and communication with your children.

Deepen your Parent-Child Relationship for more Positive, Present & Engaged Parenting
“I try to listen to and read different parenting advice, but no matter what I do on my own I’m still battling my short temper. I can lose it really quickly and I can even watch myself lose it as it’s happening. Triggers are huge for me and I fell like so much of what comes out of my mouth is yelling and threats and I’m not proud of it — at all! ... It was so effective to have the support of Sandra and my group...I’ve really begun to understand myself better and my daughters,...and be more mindful of the things I wasn’t proud.” (mom of 5 and 6 year old)
